Traxxas fuel tends to leave a brown residue, from the ignitors that are in the fuel, BUT it never builds up to cause a problem, it seems more like a stain than anything.

i did the same in the beginning on my mini mgt 3.0. it left brown all over inside my engine. on my cooling head, on my exhaust and its a pain to clean. i switched to S&W and good to go but now since i dotn want to drive an hour anymore im switching to byrons gen 2.

i personally like the byrons gen 2 . i have several diferent types of engine and they all like byrons gen 2!!!!!!!!!!!
they say o donnell is the closest to it ,but i have a gallon[couldnt get byrons at the time] and it is not as
good ,imo. the reason why i say that each engine reacts different to it ,unlike the byrons.

i use 20 % . from what i have read it depends on WHAT you are running .it seems to me its general practice by most ,30% big blocks,20% small blocks.
also from what i have read ,blue thunder has a higher amount of castor oil so it can make it fussy for tune. [this forum,r/c car engines, sticky;eng tuning]
about the fifth page . anyway that it my experiance. i know that traxxas fuel is not the best either. i have been told by SEVERAL poeple that byrons,o donnel
fuels are the way to !

i too have big blocks and small blocks . when i run traxxas fuel it works ,it just seems to me that it is not as clean or the mixture is just not right for some
reason . try bryons man, i am sure you will like it !!!!!!!!! especailly if your running different engines as you say. another thing i personally dont like about the o
donnells is there is no color in it and its hard to see in the tank and fuel lines . thats just my oppinion. i have not tried them all but i know several poeple that have
they say the same thing .

TQ 30% or Blue Thunder 20%. Both are cheap and work really well. Stay away from nitrotane

I use O'Donnel 20% and I love it! The fact that there is no color is kind of a down side, but doesn't bother me that much. Its only 21 bux at my LHS right now.
