I need help, I do not know much about Tx and Rx!!!!
Hello guys,
I have been flying planes and helis for a couple of years now (Using DX7 2.4ghz) and I decided some weeks ago to start with cars, as I am a student, I got an used REDCAT 1/10 buggy .18 vertex engine).... It is a very nice buggy to start I think, I can not complain..... the problem came yesterday:
The buggy I bought came with a cheap Tx it says HPI-TX2, it look very cheap but well, it was working fine before until I did something wrong while plugging the battery of the receiver and the receiver started to smell BURNED!!! I rapidly unplug it again and after some minutes plugged it back but it did not work..... the receiver is a cheap one it says RC SPORT, AM 27Mhz, 2 channels.... I do not know almost anything about AM cause I have always used 2.4ghz... here are my questions:
Can I use any AM 27mhz receiver with it???? no matter if it is JR, futaba, hitec or any other chinese no name on the market?????
Is there any chance that the cristal got burned or damaged as well????
Thanks a lot!
P.S. I really do not have money to buy a new TX/RX combination, I was fine with the one it came with it....
