Nimh batterys? Gone bad?

Default Nimh batterys? Gone bad?

Hey guys.

i got a bunch of battery from a friend that all have a blown cell, (all nimh and Tenergy brand)

what i got all nimh

2, 7cell 3800 mah tenergys
2, 8 cell 3500 mah tenergys.
1, 6 cell 4500 mah tenergy propel.

now, i have one blown cell in each, how do i check what cell is blown, would you charge them up then discharge each one and time each one? and then the lowest ones are dead.

I remember hearing this before, it may or may not be true- you can start charging them then use a temp gun and check the temp of the cells when charging.  The good ones get warm, the bad one is cooler.

How do you know you only have one blown in each, i would just chuck the packs, nimh is not that expensive.

Lipo is the Way to Go.....

I recently made the switch to lipo and could not Believe the increase in performance.
Less weight, more power and you CAN find good Deals, if you search around.
