Default LiPo power pack2S 7.4 3300

Since this is Jet related I will try posting this question concerning this power pac that I recieved with a P180 . It does have a balancer plug but this plug is not compatible with the Thunder Li-poly balance TP210V used with the TP-1010C . Any suggestions or do I just bypass the balancer by skipping the "reading" during intial charging? Wren's 2S Flight Power pac is compatible , although the Flight power pack has a 4 pin connector while the JetCat has a 3 pin ....both are 2S 7.4volt nominal........Any explanation is much appreciated ..

Thanks,

The TP pins are closer together than others, LHS probably has adapters for your charger to that balancer.

Most of the ballance leads on LiPo's have the same type of pin, it therefore is possible to extract the pins from your incompatable plug and put them into a plug that is compatable with your ballancer, if you do this please be carefull and only change one pin at a time as all the leads are live, if you don't know already the pins have a small raised tag inside the plug that you can push down with a very small screwdriver or tooth pick to remove them, the tag may need raising again after you have removed the pin to allow it too catch in the new plug, easier than soldering on a new plug and much quicker.

I got a Thunder Power TP 610 Balancer & Charger/Discharger and it comes with an external board with multiple connectors for different kinds of balancer plugs.

What I did was to trim the tabs of the Jet Cat LiPo 2500 mAh battery and it fit with the 2s plug in the board but the charger did not recognize the battery with balancer leads.

Then, I checked the back of the board by peeling the self adhesive rubber protector and I realized that the balancer plug has the wrong polarity for this board connector.

I switched the balancer connector polarity by reversing the red and black wires and done.....

Now my charger recongize the battery and charge it with the balancer working.
