help! part name needed

Default help! part name needed

hey. okay so i brought a titanic model and its being converted to a working model.

that in itself isnt hard.

however going to face problems water leaking in where the propeller shafts exit.

can ya help with how to prevent this?

is there a bulkhead bit that is used?

Get yourself a small tube of white lithium grease and squirt/pack it into the shaft housing.
Problem solved.

Make the shaft housing long enough so the interior open end is above the water line on the boat. Packing with grease will only work if the shaft isn't turning. Once the shaft spins for a few minutes centrifugal force will throw the grease away from the shaft and water will come in.

That's an easy fix also. A piece of fuel tubing over the stuffing tube just touching the propshaft will take care of that.
