Default converting a glow engine to a gas engine

Is it possible to take a 4-stroke glow motor and rebuild it to run on gas? If so what would it take to do this procedure.

Mike, there is a sub-forum called engine conversions here on RCU and there are threads about this very subject over there. You will find several good threads in fact and one is near the top now at http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_9313390/tm.htm Good luck on yours.

I thought about this a few years ago. By the time you get done with it all, you might as well have bought a gas engine.
