I really want a MT35, but my concern is that when the 57 came out...at first there was problems. Were any additional steps taken to assure less problems from the first production runs of MT35?
Thanks Tomy......871

I would have no doubt that he would apply it to their future engines!

RE: MT 35 Looks Like a Winner
I'm installing this engine in a CMP me109. I'm kinda a newbie to gas engines, and I'm not sure of a few things like should I remove the spring on the carb?
What to do about the choke lever. Is 6v ok for the ignition?

RE: MT 35 Looks Like a Winner
dont need to remove the spring if you use high troque serveo . and for the chock . hand flip are need chock close , it's ok if you use starter to start this engine . 5 cell (6v) are ok for the ignition . not recommend use lipo bettery for ignition power supply without regulator . give me PM or email if you have any question about how to setup or running this engine
good luck
Tomy

We have ran this engine quite a bit and it runs great, we now have it in a TLT 73'' Yak 54 and will be flying it maybe this weekend. Very nice engine.

That decision will wait until flight testing is done. Running to this point has just been to put some time on the engine and get some baseline comparisons. I'll be doing some testing with various props in the next couple of days, should have the Yak ready to fly for the weekend, hope the weather cooperates.
