How about some pictures of your models and full size Warbirds. There are some being listed that I don't even know what they look like.

Here is one the americans may not be familiar with:
Avro Arrow.
Pretty striking plane eh, I am really proud of this achievement in Canadian technology. This is what all the current war birds derived from. With out the knowledged gained in developing this plane, we would have been many years behind on the current generation of fighter planes. When this program was scapped, all the engineer's were hired in the states by the big companies, like Lockheed, Boeing, etc. (Money Talks )

RE: Whats your favorite Warbird?
1 - Spitfire - just the most beautiful plane ever made
2 - Mustang - American ingenuity that changed the war
3 - B-17 - The toughness and durability of both the plane and the crews
4 - A-10 - Since we're not limiting to WWII era, this thing is so graceful in flight. It's like watching a soaring eagle that can swoop down and blow you to tiny bits
And my wildcard entry the Do335. I'm surprised there aren't more RC versions of it; especially for piston engines. The push-pull twin setup would be much more forgiving if an engine quits. As opposed to a traditional side-by-side where the yaw probably ends in a bad day.

RE: Whats your favorite Warbird?
Several years ago on a full scale aircraft website a P-51 was listed for sale. The planes paint job was absolutely beautiful!! It didn't have the traditional warbird paint scheme, instead they had painted it a dark burgundy and the upper fuselage was white. It was probably one of the prettiest planes I've ever seen. I have looked and looked and have never been able to find those pics again.

WW1 the SE5A
WW2 the Spitfire.
Nothing else matters, they were just skirmishes.
The SE5A because of the balanced, aerodynamic look. Broad, equal area, rectangular wings. Long, tail moment arm, lots of tailplane area,, perfect.
The Spit because everything was elliptical, not a single straight line anywhere on the flying surfaces.
Honourable mention goes to the Fokker DR1 Triplane and the F4U Corsair. Both totally unique and effective in their roles in the right hands.
Jets, the F86, form and function, perfectly balanced.
