Vortex EXP Pro turned stadium/monster truck
I was getting bored with my vortex and wanted to bring some new life into it, so I grabbed a few clearance items from Hot Bodies. This stuff was dirt cheap so I couldn't pass it up. Stadium truck tires and a monster truck body. The wheels will be something else, though I haven't got them yet. Anyway, here's a mock up of the changed parts. The rear bumper will be good for protection and wheelies but the front needs something different.

Looks great!! I saw that "garage sale" that Hotbodies was having.. The prices were insane!! Unfortunately I didnt know what would transfer over to Redcat, so I didnt get anything.. Looks like you did good though! Definitely need to get ya a nice front bumper on there! Nice job!!

Thanks for the comments everyone.
Things like wheels and tires are pretty universal. The redcat runs a 12mm hex which is very common. These tires are taller so you would definitely need a smaller tooth pinion gear.

If its the volcano s30 or sv all vortex wheels will fit. But if its the stx or epx you will need the smaller front tires because it will rub on the linkage.

I just about have this thing ready for a test run tomorrow. It will be on pavement since I have no front bumper. I tested it in the house just to make sure everything will work, bad idea. Not there's a nice scratch in the door frame and the front bumper mount piece is bent, see the last pics. Maybe a Volcano front bumper, or something custom. Anyway, after it all runs well I'll go back and make all the colors match, rather than green beadlocks, blue aluminum, and a red/black body.

Forgot to post this little test video. The tires seem to work well, fans kept it very cool on the lipo. Only real complaint would be in the driving skill, or lack there of.
