Guys have any tips for better control over my car in the air.

gas makes the front go up, brake makes the front go down.

Don't give it gas over the jump (if it's pulling up) you should try to just coast over it, adjust your approach from there (you might need to give it gas as you hit the jump)

Get your speed before the jump, I saw someone at the track crawling up the face of the jump and then flooring it when he got on it....needless to say it was broken within 5 minutes.

What kind of truck b'cos 2wd, 4wd, use slightly different technique.

Every truck is different - some of them are natural jumpers, others tend to pitch up or down in the air. Some of the newer trucks like the SCTs with the big bodies tend to be a bit more 'floaty'. Basically know how your truck is going to handle or tends to handle jumping in general. Then adjust for that in order to land as flat as possible.

Take you truck off some jumps and experiment... steering changes the roll too, especially if you have a 4wd. Its best to hit just jump fast and back off to about idle before your front wheels hit the lip of the truck, the truck will nose down a tad, just give it some gas to bring it back up.

agree with this, best way to learn is try it out. of course that's the best way to break stuff too
We can tell you what to do all day long, the only way you'll know what we mean is by trying it out. Of course it's best to get the basics from people with experience, and I'd say it's already been said

what i did to learn how to jump, was hit the same jump a bunch of times and do various things with the throttle just to see what it would do and learn how it flys now i can hit it and land perfectly almost every time its a lot of practice and don't be afriad to experiement like ride teh gas the whole time.... or grab the brakes hard in mid air... the broken parts that may come from doing htis are worth the price...

Wow I went out and practiced my jumps all weekend at my local track I broke 18.00 dollars worth of parts on Saturday and 7.50 today.
 My truck some times would randomly do a front somersault even with my hitting the throttle any ideas.

i want to say the oil in your rears is too thin so the shocks are compressing when the rear end hits the jump face then they are decompressing too quickly and poping it off the face...

The jump was probably inconsistent, not the same angle at all points of a jump.
