Order Number yhst-17210252890263-119948 Airfield Skytrainer 182. The plastic clevis that connect the stab to control wire broke when I was connecting it up. The little pin broke off and stayed in the hole on the horn. Can I get a replacement for this item. Obviously I haven't flown the plane yet and it is the last thing I need to do to complete build. Please advise. Thanks

I have an Extra 300s purple recently purchases. I cannot find any parts list. Can you help? Also, the Manual is not clear on some issues. Is there another updated manual with more details? I notice this bird is out of stock. Would like another..fine airplane. When will you stock again?
Thanks
Norm

Order # yhst-17210252890263-121194
http://www.nitroplanes.com/gl603-8-a...srtf-blue.html
Hello,
Ijust ordered the product in the above link and during assembly I have found a problem. Ihad the battery charging while Iwas assembling the aircraft and before I installed the wing Idecided to connect the charged battery and check out all the servos and motors and such before finishing completely. My problem is that one of the ESC's seems to be damaged / broken. When Iconnect the battery it sounds like one of the ESC's has a constant beeping tone and the motor attached to that ESC "twitches." When I disconnect the motor from the ESC and connect the motor to the other ESC the motor works fine and there is no beeping noise or twitching. Also when applying throttle with the controller the motor attached to that ESC never rotates. I have checked the wiring and I can't seem to find anything out of place considering both ESC's jump off of the same main wires from the Rx. Iwould really appreciate any help and or info on replacing the damaged ESC considering it seems to be glued in place and the wires are soldered. Thanks in advance, Jeremy.

Missing the servo arm for the aileron servo.
Broken servo arm for the nose-wheel, but Imade it work.
any advise on the break-in required for this? I see that the motors and esc are recommended to be broken-in before flying and I've seen the same said for nimh batteries...could all be done at once by running at low power for a few battery cycles, or...?

That usually means the Y cable is not connected properly to the ESC.
You may want to check it.

Post any questions on a separate thread and I'll try to help you out. I've built three of them so far.

1.) I received my P51 plane kit yesterday - I too have exactly the same issue with a losse pilot inside my canopy and stuck sideways (same as above quoted problem).
2.) I have also received both of my big 1400mm P40 sets (one P40 Flying Tiger airframe only Kit and one P40 Flying Tiger PnP set), unfortunately they both arrived with the front of the fuselage crushed (appears that the packaging is not preventing the fuse from sliding forward, and when it does the front thermo-form cowl gets pushed back into the fuse front, cutting and gouging the foam. Both planes arrived with this damage. The rest of the components are fine, just the fuse.
3.) On both P40 kits, the canopy are horribly mis-molded and have about a 5-6mm gap to the fuselage - they do not fit along the bottom surface. FMS needs to re-run these, they are very poorly done. Do you have any spares that fit the fuse that I can trade out for?
Please PM me for what I need to do next about all these issues.
Thanks.

Hey John , just bought the airfield 1400 P40 plug and play . On the good side the plane shipped and arrived great , on the bad side I am worried about all the reports so far on the bad gear in this plane . So far I have read stripped retract servo out of the box , weak signal glitching out of the box , thrown magnets after three runs , ect ect .
My 50th birthday is 5/14 so I can start my plane until that date so I can report back on dymond or lemon as of yet .
I wish you would stock more airframe only versions so we can all be happy , complane less and spend the extra $139 dollars on our own parts to complete the final product .
Nitro could make more money , rc guys would be happier and we all call it a day

RE: DAMAGE SHIPPING/MISSING PARTS ISSUES____Post here
WOW!!!!! As a first timer to this RC hobby and was even thinking about purchasing some of the products Nitro Planes as to offer and all of the complains about kits missing parts, broken parts, missing instruction manuals, missing canopys, broken fuselage, and the list keeps getting larger I'm now rethinking about this hobby. John, the guy who is getting the job done on helping your customers with such issues - why in hell are so many kits coming out from China have so much defects or missing items once they arrive at the our port? If this is the norm, I would pretty much guess the failure rate something like 20 to 15? For every 20 kits maybe 15 kits have something missing or broken or what....this is not good John.
Something has got to be done here John. This is bad business practices and to add insult to injury - Nitro can't even keep a good supply of the products they sell from their website...what, hello!
John, as a ....maybe future customer.... why can't Nitro add more employees to make the necessary inspections " of ALL " incoming inventory from China before you sell it to the public. What I am saying is that there should a new " Quality Control Dept. " inspection to INSPECT " EVERY " single box of every kit you sell to make damn sure what's suppose to be in those kits are there and unbroken. Every kit would go through a thorough examination to make sure the kits are not found broken or missing parts, once that inspector completes inspection of that particular kit then that inspector would place a tag on the front of the box assuring your customers that kit was thoroughly inspected. I'm sure this would add the cost of doing business and may even raise the price of all the kits you sell on your site but I think for most of the people here on this forum me included wouldn't mind the added cost as so long it benefits us all to reducing what appears to me as a high failure rate. I did talk with you over the phone John about this and you said that these kits were being inspected but I'm now finding that hard to believe after reading all of these complains. Customers posting pictures of their kits they received found broken or missing or something. Come on John, you guys need to something about this. BananaHobby seems to be having the same problem if not worse..!! Something is going on here and this issue needs to be address more seriously there at your business the next time you have a business conference - all together in a conference room and work something out here. John as I am typing this I just might hold off on purchasing anything until I see the reduce failure rate go down - at least by 5%. Please don't reply by saying you are doing something about this because I just don't see it as of yet.
