Default newbie engine questions

always wanted to build a "large scale" car with a 2-stroke engine....seems I may finally have my chance

I have a Poulan (sp?) weed wacker engine.....runs EXCELLENT....which broke the shaft that runs the trimmer head itself. Engine is perfect, runs like a top!!

I am wondering where I may be able to get a clutch setup for this engine? I haven't torn it apart yet to see exactly what it has clutch/drive wise, but I do know when I started it the trimmer head spun with the engine.

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!!
