RE: what fan
HI,F-16.I would go for Ramtech As Tony Rossen at Trim Aircraft has got his unit going real good ,and is fitted with special nue motor built in stator body .Regards Ken Jack.

RE: what fan
yes im using the ramtech but what should have asked is what motor , big screamer or the 630kv scorpion...? they cheaper and dont have the whining whistle effect like the neu motors, at least not as loud as neu. dont misunderstand, neu are great motors. i may just get one of each and toy with em a bit, one for the yellow f-16 and for the jhh f-86 and what motor/fan best suits each aircraft, but the f86 will use the turbax or the bvm fan converted. note the .k&b .72 is for sale so it can help fund my batteries.

RE: what fan
You could use either motor to convert your Ramtech to edf with good results ,if i had to choose i would go with scorpion 630kv as it is able to handle very high power loads.Good luck with your conversion regards Ken Jack

RE: what fan
Well the dynamax is much better for EDF so thats good. The ramtech has to high of pitch and pulls more amps.
BTW its not the motor you are hearing its the blades and with a dynamax fan no matter what motor you use it will sound good. Look at the stu max it sounds good with a nue motor also Tams new dynamax conversion fan sounds good with a neu motor. So do not base your motor on sound it has no effect on it.
