Simulated Smoke
Could not find my old post on simulated smoke so Heres another, chime in and tell me what you think of this idea for edf smoke.
while taking apart my dynamax fan to get it ready for electric conversion i left the pilot pressure vent on and the idea hit me.
on the aft side of the vent use a in flight fuel mixture valve to control airflow, airflow into a normal glow fuel tank filled with talc/baby powder, unrestrict the airflow to the tank and pressure in the tank will push the talc/baby powder out a slightly modified exit (slightly larger exit) ,dumping the powder behind the edf into the thrust tube. whats your thoughts on this.

RE: Simulated Smoke
Think your going to make yourself a big mess. You won't be able to release enough powder into the "exhaust" to make the smoke thick enough. If you did manage to do so the effect would only last for a minute tops...
