I think the raised one looks way better than the ''drag'' truck personally. Don't mind the troll lol.

kinda wish I bought a slash 4x4, but alas I blew too much this year on RC's, and am out of storage room for them so no slash for me

really like the changes you've made look 100X cooler than it did before imo, its very rasied truck but very racy at the same time...
i want one but 6 cars and a heli makes for a lot to keep track of and deal with... and the parts bills are harsh....

RE: Slash 4x4 MT Kustom
well the drag truck is only made for down force+high speeds so i didnt put that much effort into making a prostock truck body for it, i agree it looks better raised on the mashers myself. i like the way it handles now.....much better than any of the SC wheels i have for it. it slides a little when high speed turning but HASNT ROLLED OVER YET.....its actually been my mission to roll it with these on. IT IS DIFFICULT none the less lol.the 1/8 electronics deffintly are a boost in performance and i recommend them for any 1/10 or 1/8 rc....no hiccups, no cogging and doesnt get much over ambient tempatures no matter the stress (motor gets a little warm) i think this should have been a Stampede 4x4 BL that traxxas should put out....thanks guys.
anyone one know of a way to widen its track 1/4" to a 1/2"? i wanna try summit wheels next

RE: Slash 4x4 MT Kustom
yea i feel the same way about the stampede 4x4....should have been done a long time ago.....but i like the slash 4x4, i think this has more clearance than the stampede does...i think the stampede is a rustler with a body lift lol but it would be nice to have a stampede 4x4 brushless....thanks for the comments guys
Last pic for some reason came out too small...there 50 25V 330uF capacitors. im going to install 4-6 on the esc and take the 35v 2400uF off, better charges and heat dissapation

RE: Slash 4x4 MT Kustom
no different than usual
when onroad or grippy surfaces i use the top-farthest towards the wheel Front+Rear, on the arms i use 2nd hole in from the outside...keeps it from rolling...slides more though

Just put some time into it and make it YOUR'S. Build a 4x4 Stampede! I actually heard from my uncle that 4x4 Slash's are not even close to being as strong (as far as breaking) as the 2wd Slash. He owns a dirt track and runs them often.
