Where can I buy a Katana???
I am looking for a 30 to 50cc Katana for a reasonable price. I like the Thunder Tiger - Ace Hobby TOC 28% Katana, but can't find anywhere that sells it online. Does anyone know where?? Any others? (Don't care for the World Models Katana) And Nitroplanes is out of everything like always...
Thanks in advance,

You can buy it direct from Thundertiger4U:
Yellow https://www.thundertiger4u.com/store...idProduct=2796
Blue https://www.thundertiger4u.com/store...idProduct=2795
They show a low stock level so you might want to order it soon and shipping over $99.99 is free ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !
BTW I have several World Models planes and I like the quality and customer
service I have received from Airborne Models. they have a 50 & 100 cc Katana.

RE: Where can I buy a Katana???
Hi,
Thanks, but that is at the full "Manufactuers Suggested Retail Price" which we all know is a "joke". For 600 bucks I would definitely find something bigger!
I am looking at the Pacific Aeromodels 25% Katana. Anyone with experience with that plane?? (I've already searched all of RCU and read what there is....)
I would buy the big Katana from Nitroplanes but..... no stock. Man I wish they would get their supply problem fixed!
Thanks again,
AV8TOR

Nitro Planes Katana's aren't a "champange" airplane either, plus you'll pay premium shipping also...........

RE: Where can I buy a Katana???
Ive got the Pacific Aero Katana with a Brillelli 46 on it ( poulan engine) and I really like it. I purchased it used from a fellow club member and am learning to do some 3D stuff with it. The previous owner had a DLE 55 on it before he sold the plane to me.
Last I looked, pac-aero had these planes on sale about 3 weeks ago. Mine is the orange colored version.
I dont think you will go wrong getting one.

RE: Where can I buy a Katana???
Re the Katana by Pacific Aeromodels, I bought one, and I am very happy with it. I have 15 flights on it as of yesterday. She is under 15lbs, has a FPE 40cc with a Duralite 6.6 volt maganese battery with a regulator. Everything is forward except the two servos for elevator which are at the rear. The rudder is just behind the tube and has pull pull. She grooves like a pattern plane, I am more into pattern IMAC so for me she is a surprise. I also fly a Wild Hare Edge 540T and a Wild Hare 31% Cap both of these are fantastic planes. The Katana for me flies like these bigger planes. Only one drawback I feel the Katana has, is the side profire is very low and she is a bit harder to see.
I attached some pics from yesterdays 5 flights I had. She does a beautfiul slow roll and hardly any rudder or elevator movement on the 4 point roll.

RE: Where can I buy a Katana???
I just got my Katana in the air from Nitro. (CMP model) $199 with 10% off.
I have an OS 1.20 on it. Flies great and good assemby. If anyone wants pictures or more info reply.
Only negative so far is the color. Light purple is invisible in the air and blends in with the floridah sky. I bouught a strip of daglow orange and stripped the leading edge and large areas on the top. Really helped/
