The hull appears to be similar in size to the "Windy" kit but nothing the rest looks to be pretty custom[8D]
I would love to see some video of it in action!

Hi: My first post! Here is some pics of my new airboat.. Having trouble finding a place to run it.. My first attempt at building one. My brother painted it and helped also. I don't think it turned out too bad,, Be more excited when I find a place close by to test it etc. Ron

I live in Indiana and it seems like most ponds or lakes are on private property. I'll be able to run it but maybe have to travel at least 30 miles...Will probably have sometweaks to getting it running goodbut Iguess that is the fun of it. Experimenting with props right now I have at hand 16x10, 18x10, and 18x12 props, Thanks for the comment!

soem of you have seen thie before. I call it the Hull Force. it has a 1.08 is 42" long and 21" wide. its a bit overbuilt and im sure could survive a full speed impact with a wall, but shes super stable at any speed. WOT is very controllable.

Below , pictures of my airboats made in fiberglass.

The first plan of manufacture according to the hydro-spark (CHISPA 40). the second reference used in the first, but changed the half-tunnel and third sense based on plans tedjones, U7 and thirfwaytoo ...

Just found this thread whlst looking for some Hovercraft pictures, and have spent a little bit of time admiring the models.

However, although I don't know anything about Airboats as I'm generally into R/C Aeros, I did noticed that a couple had the fuel tanks fitted 'backwards', i.e. With the filler at the back (and presumably) the klunk at the front.

Therefore, I wondered if this was correct and, if so, what kind of fueling set-up was installed in the fuel-tanks to overcome starvation when the fuel surges rearwards during acceleration?

AlphaRomeo, those are valid questions. I only own 1 airboat(the Cox powered Dumas Lil' Swamp Buggy pictured earlier in this thread) but have lots of rc planes. In my airboat, I use a hard brass line as a fuel pickup in the bottom of the tank. No need for a clunk since it should always be upright when running, no twisting or inverted maneuvers HOPEFULLY. Mine accelerates slow enough that the pickup location isn't too critical. As a matter of fact, I've run my tank facing both directions without any noticeable performance changes.
