FP-8SSAP PCM
Is there anyway way to convert these transmitters to 2.4 GHz with a module swap or any way at all with internal circuit changes? I guess the stumbling block is the fixed PCM design and no easy way to switch it to PPM?

RE: FP-8SSAP PCM
Is the Futaba FP-8SSAP Single Stick PCM Transmitter and FP-R118GP PCM Receiver still legal with today's 72Mhz frequencies. I have a set that I just pulled out of storage. It is configured for Channel 46 (72.710MHz). There is a gold sticker on the transmitter's interchangeable RF Module that reads R/C MA RF Check AMA 8/14/90.
It looks like everything is correct to me, but I just want to be sure about it.
Thanks in advance to anyone who can help with my question.
Joe

RE: FP-8SSAP PCM
Bill,
My Futaba FP-8SSAP Single Stick PCM Transmitter internal battery may need to be replaced. I have a far share of electronics assembly experience and, if necessary, I would like to replace the battery myself.
What is the battery model number that I would need to purchase?
Thank you.
Kind Regards,
Joe
