Hi there!

I have an Su35 Aviation design.
What configuration of the control surfaces should be used...?
Classic Ailerons, flaps, elevator ,canards, rudder or just elevator as ailerons, rudder and flaps and cannards.

Thanks for your help!

Toni

Hi DelGato!

I need help.
I have an Su35 AVD and would like to know what configuration of control surfaces do I need to use.

Ailerons-flaps-elevatr-rudder-canards

or without ailerons because they are so small.
And which servos do you use for the control surfaces...

Thank you and hope to hear you soon!
Have a nice day!

Toni
Hello Toni

I have read your p.m.
First i like to point out that the name of this subject is about the Rafales pipe and i am refering to the last two posts above.
Means that we are out of subject and mods can delete this posts.
This is why its good when we want to talk about something deferent to start a new thread!

As far your question i fly my SU35 with :canards(as elevators) /elevons(as elevators and ailerons) and i have cut out rudders. No flaps or ailerons.
I use hitec7955 servos for canards and elevons controled by the PowerBox Royal.
If you dont have your models PDF instractions you can find them at www.adjets.com on the SU page

i will p.m. you with more info!
George

Hello George
To answer your question about pipes. I build another AD Rafale ( new model molded in south America ) twin seat. the engine is a P160SX and I use a single pipe. The transformation is almost invisible and the pipe is far lighter than the dual exaust and don't loose power, and don't produce a stange noise. I use kevlar tank. so I can fly 7 minute of aerobatic and land with 2 minutes of extra fuel.
Take off weight is 17 Kg.
The other modif I made is to install a BVM L.G. It is awesome, and bullet proof !!!! Can retract at any speed, resist any kind of hard landing. Every week, end I can see problems with the solidity of AD L.G. even with the new reinforced one ! I don't mean that AD L.G. is bad quality, I just mean that the BVM one is far more strong.
I can give pictures of all the process of AD Rafale modif to install the BVM.
Enjoy , George, with the Rafale it's an really extra plane to fly.

I'm just finishing a big Mibo A10 and after that I start ( at least ) a sukhoi 35 so the caracteristics of yours are interresting me.
Best regards
Stan

Hi Andreas,
The best gear for the Refale that you ar looking was made from WJM Refale , the airplane was not a good flyer but the gear worked every time and it looked good.

in my Rafale i use the BVM gear that i my opinion is the best. Have seen the WJM gear and is not as strong as the BVM,plus you cant get spear parts if you will need.
Email BVM
