lee172.....hmmmmmmm...carnitas...[&:]
Best way to describe it would be slow braised pork shoulder, so tender that if you try and pick it up as a lump, it falls to pieces....and that's how it's meant to be served. However....just to add a bit of something extra, you take that meat, put it in a roasting pan, sprinkle a bit of milk, salt n pepper, and anything else you want, and stick that into a very hot oven to get slightly crispy.
Then you use that meat to fill your tacos, burrittos, tortillas, empanadas, breakfasts, etc...... You also serve it with all the Mexican condiments....guacamole, salsa, sour cream, shredded cheese, etc, etc, etc......
Scrummie doesn't come close to describing this dish mate....[8D]
I'm out....got'ta go eat now...[:-]

RE: Bacon
This is the first time I've tasted this new applewood smoked bacon....yum-oh!
We bought a pound of it, fried it up and made BLT's in the hotel room. I'm liking too much.

RE: Bacon
I had one and fell in love. Of course i think the girl that made it was trying to flirt with me because it had almost more toppings and bacon than ice cream. Wonderful haha
