belt cp metal upgrades - is it a good idea?
hi,
do you guys think the belt cp metal upgrades are a good idea?
does the stock plastic parts work better?
i know sometimes those metal upgrades only make the thing look nice and have no positive effect in the quality of the flight.
thanks.

RE: belt cp metal upgrades - is it a good idea?
Hi:
Recently I've changed into those good-looking metal parts and the result was possitive in response and behaviour.
I think it is a good thing to do.

I changed over to a Trax style head what a differance really worth it
Here is a link to teh head I used. Love the head and the supplier is great.
Works on both the V1 and V2 Belt CP and uses the same blades and rotor shaft.

I upgraded to to the HDX 450SE V4 head and HDX 450 V2 Tail assy. I tried the V4 tail assy., but it had some design problems so I downgraded to the V2, which is I thinka better design.

I see from your Video that there is a lot of slop in the tail slider. I agree that It would cause severe control problems.
I do not use the HDX V4 tail assy just the V4 head which I do like very much.
I use this tail assy

I think this is the same as you are using.

The picture appears to be of an Esky knockoff head. The Offical Esky CNC heads are all Purple.
That dose not mena that others do not offer purple knockoffs.

i have a older belt cp with the align V2 main rotor and the newer align tail rotor. love it, made it so much more responsive. if you are still in the learning stages, i might not recommend it, because of the tendency to over correct. but otherwize go for it.
got the m/r off ebay for $60 and the tail i bought at LHS.
