Default ? for mmgt 3.0 owners

i bought the mini monster gt from my lhs the other day. it isa great litle truck but the only thing ive seeen so far is that it likes to run hot. it runs great and puts out a nice steady stream of blue smoke at all rpms and has plenty of power, but its so hot that assoon as water hits the cooling head it instantly sizzles away. i was just curious is any other mmgt owners were experiencing this issue at all>

yeah...the MMGT engine is known to run hot. Mines ran hot when i first got it....the engine still ran great hot, but i didn't stick with it long enough to see how long it would last running hot. I swapped the engine in less than a gallon.

yea i kinda figured its a pretty heavy truck for a .18 and the bigger tires probably dont help it either.  i guess ill just butcher up the body a little to get some airflow and see how long it lasts...

mine runs hot, but i have had it for over four gallons and it still pulls wheelies, so im guessing its fine... i just try to keep it under 300.  i am going to put in an os cv rx in it soon
