Hi, i currently have a Traxxas vxl system sitting around after the tragic death of my rustler vxl []
So anyways, i was thinking about getting a 1/16 slash 4x4 vxl for a change of pace...but in order to save money and reuse my spare vxl system, i was wondering if i could put the 1/10 scale sized motor and esc in a cheaper brushed version of the slash?

You will need the tenbol conversion kit to fit the 540 sized motor.

also, what about batteries? i have a 5000mah 3s lipo, would that be too large to fit in the slash 1/16?

You might have to get creative to do it, but not without modifications.

a mini lipo set will work fine if you got a 2s in one compartment and a 1s in the other you can get that thing really moving
