I must be one of the rare breed still bashing the bjeez out of their HF. A few times a week it cops a beating. Luckly i have a old HF i canniblize for spares. Still using a modded os 28 with gst diffs. The gst diffs never ever seem to show signs of giving up. The os has aprox 25 lts and still has decent compression and wicked mid/top end. I have only changed the bearings on the os. I mite try a modded picco for a change. Ive had 3 os28s in a row over 2 years and a picco mite be next mill. I wish i could afford a new truggy but it aint gunna happen so ill continue to be a lonely HF basher.

i club race my hellfire every other weekend- So two of us still have no money for new trucks. I currently have a .21 jammin/JP3 set up with proline revolvers. When the time comes i will make this into a monstertruck and beat it in the woods

Keep checking EBay. The listed SS chassis is overpriced, but -

I still bash my Hellfire at every opportunity. I'm running an LRP .30 in it at the moment.

It is discontinued. If you do a search on google and ebay though you should be able to find one.

Nothing really. They did just release a 4.6 trophy truck but Im not sure if its available in the states. The Hotbodies D8T would be the upgrade

You're probably looking at 500 or so depending on the engine, radio, and servos you choose. Maybe a little more.
You could check ebay or the other forums for a used one to save some cash

its very sad that hpi discontinued the hellfire.
i understand that people dont care for the steering and other flaws this truck has for racing.
but i use it for just bashing around on whatever terrian i can find to run it on.
just love this truck for bashing.
my hellfire is 100% stock and still runs great.
gonna be heartbroken when i have to finaly rebuild her and cant find the parts to do so.

looks like i need to invest in the CEN GST diffs. My LRP .30 is trashing my stock diffs. Only the front diff though. After about 5 mins of running on a new diff the small bevelled gears literally shatter! Been through 3 sets so need something stronger!

I smoked stock pinions all the time, even tho they were shimed correctly. The stock pinions/crown are crap. I installed the gst diffs over a year ago and they have hardly worn and thats running modded os 28s. Just remember to change front/back at the same time and to drop down 1 or 2 teeth on your clutch bell.

One GST diff on order, should be with me in a week or so as it has to come from the US. Seems it isn't available in the UK As soon as another affordable one pops up on ebay then I'll install them front and back.

I'll take pics of the install but you'll see some on page 57ish of this thread too.

If anyone out there has a spare CENGSTDiff kicking about gathering dust please let me know and I'll take it off your hands!

My first GST diff turned up today. Got stuck in customs and cost me the equivalent of 20 US Dollars to get back, thats what I paid for it in the first place!

I'll get some photos as I install it.

Just have to wait for the second one now before I can play again   Hope it doesn't end up in customs too.
