Default Clicking

Brand new to RC and looking for some help.

My Sumo is making a clicking noise when I pull the throttle. Is that what it sounds like when a gear is bad?

Also, at the same time that I noticed the clicking, the car began acting strangely. It will jitter and swerve left or right seemingly at random.

Like I said, I'm completely new to RC, so I'm looking for any help I can get.

Thanks guys. Anyone know of any sites that have all/most of the parts for these things in stock? I'm having trouble finding what I need.

I was just about to ask you where to find parts for a Redcat lol! If you purchased it from a hobby shop you can always ask them about parts support. We have one shop in Houston that sells nothing but Redcat rc's and has a good deal of parts on hand since the owner hates Traxxas. But the name is definately not as popular as HPI or Traxxas so finding replacement items will be difficult.

I found the Redcat's product number 24020 for the differential. Search online and you should be able to find it.

RUFASTER.Com has pretty much all RedCat product parts and is awesome with shipping. You order at 3am he process and ships by like 10 am that day.
I've never had a problem with them.

Yeah the Clicking is the Diff. I put a shim in mine and it barley clicks now. In regard to the performance issues, try tightening down the antenna on the car itself. My buddies was doing the same thing and it was jus a loose antenna.
