The LX One will be more durable just because it's 1/8 scale rather than 1/10th. I would go that route. Most shops carry parts for OFNA too.

Having owned both 1/8 and 1/10, I'd have to say go 1/8. You'll find that you wont always be ordering parts. I've beat my old 1/8 buggy to hell and it always bounced back for more. When I had my 1/10 nitro's/brushless, it seemed everytime I went out I broke something. 1/8 is where it's at!!!!

the other day my friend brought a exceed madfire race version and came over with it. I was pretty impressed with the initial quality and performance. this thing flies! lots of tourque, it was shredding my grass up.I've had traxxass and hpi cars and been in r/c for a while so I thought it looked pretty good. so i got a redcat hurricane xtr from ebay should be here soon i will give a review when it comes.

The Exceed MadFire is pretty much the same as your RedCat Hurricane. I had a Hurricane 2 summers ago and loved it. I traded it for a heli to try my hand in something new and I wish I never did. I miss that damn buggy. But now I'm back in it with a Associated RC8e. You'll like the Hurricane, is it RTR and how much did you get it for on Ebay?

I got it new ,never run with a missing steering servo. so i swapped my tmaxx servo until my new one comes. I won it for $ 102. plus 25 shipping. even my wife approved! I tried the heli thing also i am not a pilot. my only problem with the redcat was the crap glow plug it came with, it would start only for a second. blistered my hand before i swapped it out for a used tmaxx plug then it idled right though 2 tanks. light driving on 1 tank. taking a break now then out for more driving. so far the quality looks pretty good. counter sunk chassis and all hex hardware. primer bulb on fuel line leaks though but i have got some new line to get rid of that. it is 2.4ghz also

Jammin makes a good buggy, they are made by (or bought by) OFNA.
cant go wrong with a OFNA product.
