Default Removing Main gear

In a recent crash I sustained damage to the main gear on my Walkera 450.
I've removed the small bolt and nut that secures it to shaft but I cant figure how to get it off the shaft. It is loose and ready to come off but the gear itself hits on the sides of heli and there is no room to slide it down any further.
What is the secret?
