The Beastx is far superior to the Bigalo. The Bigalo is a copy of the first generation Beast(sorta) It does a great job and one of the best fbl unit under 100 bucks. I tested it with a 300x. Nice but is a little limited in the paramater menus compared to the 3.xx versions of the Beastx. Be careful when using the Bigalo, the pitch boost is not removable and you will find the pitch to be over sensitive but manageable through pitch curve points. Go and grab one well worth the price. The down side is that you can not use it as a receiver.
