Default Problems In Hover ? !

i just been flying with the Robirb for the first time this week, everything is going great !
But in hover it moves a lot up and down and I am not moving stick ?
The heli is a T-Rex 450 clone, low head speed and not much pich from -4+8 and -6+10.
Any budy have idea ?

are both blades balanced the same? also are both blades tracking the same? another words one blade is not tracking high and the other one tracking low?
any wind when you were flying? sometimes that can cause it to do that. i know on a real helicopter it does that so i would think on a model it would be similar.
also has the helicopter been wrecked before? is so make sure nothing is bent like main mast, feathering shaft, flybar and make sure the paddles are the same distance.

"are both blades balanced the same? also are both blades tracking"

Everything is perfect ! but I do not have paddles, its a FBLs heli ! I think it is too low head speed, around 2800 RPM, I am going to change the pinion gear from 11T to a 13T

You should try it ! makes the heli fly real nice, this is the first time I try a flybarless set-up, I like it, once I get this fix not going back to flybar.

i'm rebuilding one right now. i bought a wrecked one off ebay. its a align 600N pro dfc. got most the frame done other than finishing installing the control rods and control arms.
i'm thinking of going with a os engine.

For sure, go with OS, great engines, easy to tune.

ya thats what i was thinking. it came with a align 55h engine.
1.i don't know much about align engines
2.heads cracked
3.crank is bent
4. so far having hard time finding parts for it
so i'm not going to even mess with it! just going to replace it with a os engine. those i'm familiar with.

The Align motor is a rebadge OS ! the OS parts will fit, but if you need a lot of parts it will cost as much as a new motor, so you mite be better off getting a new OS.

ya that is what i was thinking. time i checked on the engine parts and price it was not worth my time money wise. been better off buying a new motor. its too bad because it looked like a brand new engine with very few flight hours on it. anyway i'm thinking of this engine for my t-rex 600N pro dfc helicopter.

If you don't need all the power of a 55 you could get the OS 50 instead, it is just like the 55, but a little less power and cost less

you mean the rotor head or electronics? if its the rotor head i already have that. its the one align dfc. i think its this one- http://www.amain.com/product_info.ph...ad-Upgrade-Set

far as electronics go's i'm not sure yet. i'm not sure if i want to go with a align 3g system or beastx system???
i read lot of bad reviews on a main hobbies website that the 3g system does funny things like spin out of control when trying to idle up to take off. and then some people have told me the system works fine. so i'm not sure what to think on the 3g system!?????

on the other hand i read good reviews on the beastx system. so i'm not sure which direction i want to go with at this point just yet?

I was thinking electronics, I would not go with 3g, go with the beastx or in the same price range you could go with the Brain iKon.
If it was me, I would go with the iKon, it has self leveling, if you need it.

I think i found the problem! I rubber mounted the servos and when I was checking them I notes they were moving around a lot ! after a closer look I saw that 3/4 of the mounting taps were broken, so I am working on fixing the problem.

I just get back from flying the 450, its a lot better, still windy a bit, I still find it a bit sensitive in the wind, but I gust its normal after flying a 15lb gasser and a 25lb turbine, I just mite sale my 2 450 and get something bigger like a 600 or a 700 and stretch it out to a 800 and fly it on 6s , we will see.
