Default foam cutter power source

hi
i have a 3 foot foam cutter with a two leads red and black what would be the right power source for it ,thanks

A transformer from Radio Shack and a  push button dimmer switch. A plug from the wall outlet wired to the dimmer.

I use a Variac myself, but a couple of other options are, Train transformer, Sewing machine controller Dremel makes one for their power tools, variable speed bathroom fan controller. Hope this helps.

A 24v ac furnace transformer from Granger /McMaster Carr /local heating air conditioning place would also probably work.

Ive used a 12V car battery charger on 6A and it worked awesome.

Ditto on the 12 volt car battery charger. Mine is 4 amp, works awesome.
