Well I'm new at this too but Istarted with the hobbyzone super cub lp BNF love it. Great plane to learn with it also has the ACT (anti crash tech). I still love flying it and I have 3s 1300mah 20c batteries for it about 15min flight time.

I started out with a Champ II
A cute little plane, not too much fuss. Once I got used to that I got a T-28 Trojan (also a micro flyer)
My latest is a P-51D and a Corsair F-4U
Just love them

If you really want to expand your fun, buy a multiplex fun cub. You can get receivers cheap from hobby king , 6 each 9gram microservos, a motor and esc for a fairly great price. Batteries are also fairly inexpensive for a couple of 3S 2200 mAh batteries. I know it's not BNF, but it's a really fun plane to fly.
