brushless slinger setup
What do you guys think about this setup for a great planes slinger? I'm trying to find a really cheap brushless setup that increases performance at least by 30% against the stock.

RE: brushless slinger setup
I run a Multiplex 480-6d brushless w/ TP 1320 Lipo 3-cell on my Slinger (motor cost only $60 from my local dealer). The 6-d version draws only 21 amps (max) w/ an APC 6x5.5 prop!
My Slinger is flying at 80-90mph and I am outruning all of the glow powered planes that I've
raced. This combo can run even faster w/ more prop and a bigger Lipo. 25amp castle speed
control works very well.
