Need ideas for foamie with my spare motor...
I've got a spare E-Flite Park 450 & 22A ESC laying around begging to be put on a foamie.
I also want to use the 1300MAH 3-cell lipos I've already got a bunch of.
I want to build an Extra 300-type of plane for practicing/learning 3D moves so it needs to be durable.
Most of the plans I've found call for a much smaller motor or a geared setup.
Any suggestions???
Thanks!

Use The blu-cor fanfold foam and enlarge the plans to meet the size you're looking for. 1300's are large for a foamie so just as a guess, 38" wingspan might be a starting place. Just a s a "IHMO", Edge 540's are nice, cause of the straight leading edge.

Try: http://www.********.com. Just click on Airplanes. Its a great site run by a great guy. The pdf plans for the Extra300 are free. It's rated for a 400 class but it might work with what you have.
