IF your talking the 800mm wing P-40 the V2 has a rudder. the V1 does not.

If you buy it complete from Nitro or PWRC you will spend about $230 for everything you need with the exception of a charger . In stock form the plane flys great , the orginal retracts shown in my picture are junkey plastic and I replaced them with e-tracts .
The new 1400 mm P40 from PWRC comes with eletric retracts and if I am not mistaken even the flaps are installed .
My P40 has added split flaps , e retracts , and matching paint , I moved the pilot back and build an interior kit .
The plane is a total blast , I fly mostly 75" fuel birds and I am really thinking twice about converting my plane to all eletric as a result of this plane

You may also want to check out the thread - "Biggest Boat-Anchor of an Airplane EVER!" on this forum before buying this airplane or anything from NitroPlanes.com.

You know , I think i posted there and i was wrong . I was pissed on my servos being too small in this plane at 9 grams .
That because so many peopel like me over react and then dont have the ...... you know to say "hey I was wrong "

Anyway , John sent me a great value for my issues with wanting to switch out the servos from 9 grams to heavier ones .
While I do believe you need a heavier servos on the rudder , elevator ect , the rest have held up .
On the newer release I think they upgraded but it does not matter , I only buy my own airframe only then add my choice of parts from Hobby king .
The 1400 mm planes fly great , I just bought the P47
