Default rcu poker

Why does the games requires you to hold at least 2 cards and other times just 1 card? Should not the minimum cards be the same for each hand?

According to Hoyle.............. The rules of 5 card draw poker are; You may take only 3 cards on the draw, unless you have ace, at this time you may take an extra card.

Strange rule.. Are you supposed to keep teh ace?!

Did someone change teh poker code today?

I managed to get at least a pair in just about very hand today!! Two flushes, three straights, and a bunch of pairs (some double, but most 'low pairs')

In one, I was tryign for the straight, but got a flush instead! $75 instead of the intended $30 is sweet!!!

You may discard any card(s) including the ace.

Poker is about knowing the rules, when you do and take advantage of the loop holes you will win. I am in the top ten as of today (8-17-04), but, things change.

I guess a 'poker stategy' thread is a good thought, but would have little input.. (poker faces..)
