I did not have this problem 24 hours ago. I just logged on, and my kaspersky anti virus stopped a virus attack (all three times I just got on). Your site is infected. Here is the info I got on the kaspersky window.

INTRUSION.GENERIC.FORMAT-STRING.EXPLOIT
address 67.15.230.18

do you think this forum is held on someones personell pc???,or someones bedroom server.....i think its more likely its held at a hosting company that hosts 1000s of other websites,,,,,,worse thing is you guys are serious

Or just some A-hole hacker. I am no computer wiz--but as far as I know, any site can be hacked, and any running computer on line can be hacked.

[I have a window that pops up every time I get on the RCU site right now that tells me "attention! your computer has been attacked from the internet Network attack intursion. generic. format-string.exploit from address 67.15.230.18 has been sucessfully repelled."

If you don't get a window like that, it may be more serious for you than it is for me. Your welcome for the warning. Have you any appreaciation for anything?

theres god know how many forums,sub forums,posts that date back years + HPI rcu forums,user logged online,image hosting blah blah blah on rcu,and i was replying to a member who suggested it was down to baja releated files NOT directing anything at you,as for my pc - my firewall and anti v aint picking up anything and the definitions are upto date,and i would suspect the anti virus at the hosting company will be more upto date than anything were useing.

btw: theres a contact button on main page of rcu,tech support ect

It's a remote exploit and it is server side. It's old and outdated and used to hack a remote machine which is running outdated libraries. RCU should be concerned but it's nothing a home users needs to be concerned with unless you are using a old outdate variant of Linux or Unix.
