Default Can't edit old post...Why?

Why is it that one can not edit old post?

An example is in this thread which I started.....
http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_44...%2C2006/tm.htm

The edit feature does not show up in old post, but yet I am able to edit new post.

The system locks posts after 60 days and they can no longer be edited after that time period.

A moderator can do it for you if you like. just pm one and let them know the changes you want. I Think the timeout is longer than 60 days though.

No, it doesn't. You may simple ask a moderator of that forum to help you when you want to update and edit.
