Default Field of View: Cameras and Goggles

I've been wondering about how field of view specifications for FPV cameras (which can range from 90° - 120° 130°), relates to the field of view specs for the goggles which sometimes are as low as 25°? Can anyone shed light on how to maximize the field of view with an FPV set up? Also, I have seen the new 3-D goggle/camera advertised (Skylark -Hobby King if I'm correct) and I'm wondering if you can use separate cameras or if the goggles only work with the supplied "matched" camera. Guess I'm just looking for how to achieve the most natural view from the cockpit for FPV flying?

I see more advertising...and less participation. Guess I'm asking my questions on the wrong website.
