Building an IMU based UAV
I was originally going to build aUAV using Ardupilot but have decided to not use a thermopile. I would like to build one that's IMU based. What's my best option?
I've considered ArduIMU but it isn't widely used and would like something that more people have used/worked on. Most other options are expensive. Is there a cost effective, open source, IMU based, uav autopilot?

RE: Building an IMU based UAV
I think the ArduPilot is a good start. Using the Arduino IDE you can change it to do what you want.
I would start with getting the exact setup they have going. Shoulden't cost more than $300 for everything (plane included). Then you can change it for any the plane you want.
