12Z Timer Questions
Bax,
I have a few simple questions about setting up one of the Timers on my 12Z. I'd like to set the radio up for a seven minute timer to start when I advance the throttle. Then let the timer count down while the throttle is up. Then sound the alarm when the timer runs down. The last thing, and maybe not possible is I'd like the timer to reset back to seven minutes when I lower the throttle all the way back down.
If you could help me out, I'd certainly appreciate it.
David

RE: 12Z Timer Questions
Hi David,
This is pretty easy to do.
First go into your Timer menu by selecting either Timer 1 or Timer 2 on the main screen, press the cursor button and go to Mode. Select Up, toggel over to the Time on the right hand side and change the 10 to 7. Scroll down to Start SW, press the cursor button and select J3. Next press the cursor button again and it will ask you to set the Point to where you want the timer to start. I would set this just a "hair" above full down. You will probably have to Reverse the ON/OFF depending on if anything was already set up here.
Now, go back to your main Timer screen again, and toggle up once, to the Reset menu. Press the cursor and again select J3, but this time when you go in to the ON/OFF menu, make sure that the throttle stick is FULL DOWN, press set and this time leave the ON/OFF set to Norm.
This should get you what you want.
