18MZ Warning Set
Is there a way to set a warning on power up for the 18MZ for a switch like it does for throttle position.
I would like it to warn me if my gear switch is not in the down position on power up.
I have found the warning menu but it did not look like you could change anything.
Thanks,
Don

RE: 18MZ Warning Set
the radio warns you if it is in any non-standard condition when you turn it on.....
so maybe set the gear up in a condition and it should work

RE: 18MZ Warning Set
The 18MZ doesn't have a way to have a warning that a particular control is incorrectly-set when you power up. It allows you to have a sound when you toggle the switch, so you can have a "Gear Down" message sound off when you move the gear switch to extend the gear, and a "Gear Up" message when you retract the gear, but not a warning upon power-up. You can only customize the particular sound you hear when you turn the power on, but it will sound no matter how any control is positioned.
If you set conditions so that the gear channel works only in condition 1, then you'll get a general warning that the switches aren't set correctly.

RE: 18MZ Warning Set
Hello
1. I will be glad to know if there is in 18MZ sound warning on low reception or loss of range for transmitter receiver?
2. is ther a seting for alert on the GPS speed sensor- high speed and low speed?
this report can be most helpful in F3A flying training
3. is ther a Out of box, in three-dimensional, warning buy GPS coordinates defineding? (perhaps I exaggerate a little bit with my expectation?)
this report can be most helpful in F3A flying training to
Thanks in advance
Chester

You can set a low-battery warning. We don't know about signal reception.

We'll have to see what warnings are available when the GPS module comes out.

Please see answer to #2, above.
Thanks in advance
