Hi, I am trying to program my Futaba 8FG Super and I am having a little
I want to program the SB three position switch to be flipped up all the way
and the landing gear will be down. I want to use flaps on the same switch.
So when the SB switch is moved to the center position the flaps will be at
half flap and the gear will be down. Then if I flip the switch all the way
down it will be full flaps with the gear down. I got it to work but the
problem I have is that I am using a retract servo. The airplane is a Top
Flite P-51 Mustang with mechanical retracts. The retract servo does not
like being in the middle position of the SB switch. The servo will twitch,
I think it due to the switch trying to move the servo part way in the middle position. It will do
this when I do not try to use flaps on the same switch too.
I would like to just make the retracts work on the three position switch
without the servo twitching in the middle position of the SB switch. What
can I do is there any paper work on this problem. I left my end point
adjustment at 135/100 factory setting and my retract servo is not binding.
It needs to tell the retract servo it is at full throw when it is in the
middle position so it will stop twitching. It will not twitch if I move the
SB switch all the way up or down, it only twitches in the middle position. Any advice to find the proper set up and
instruction would be great.
