I fly with a Futaba T9C with the Futaba TM-8 2.4 module. If I purchase the R7008 receiver, will it work with my current transmitter setup? I know the 9C doesn't have the telemetry ability, but I want to buy receivers that are capable of doing telemetry for when I upgrade my transmitter in the future.

Also, I notice that the R7008 receiver is a "high voltage" receiver. Will it work on 4.8-6.0 volt battery packs?

No, the R7008SB can only be used with the 18MZ.

The R7008SB does not link to a transmitter in the same way as do most FASST receivers, it links by way of a specific menu in the 18MZ.
