    14SG - 7008SB config

Hello... I'm setting up a new warbird and need some help... I need to drive 14 separate channels and I'm using SBUS 3071's on all controls (each on it's own channel).

I'm trying to configure channel 13 and 14 on DG1 and DG2 to drive bomb drop and smoke system. I've configured the SBUS Decoder for those channels but it doesn't drive any servos.

Any help will be much appreciated.

When you set up DG1 and DG2, you cannot do this from the transmitter. You need either the SBC-1 Channel-setting tool or the CIU-2 USB connector with the PC-Link software. the decoder plugs into the channel-setting tool, and you can set which channel is on which output of the decoder, or you can plug the CIU-2 into your PC, plug the decoder into the CIU-2, and then run the PC-Link software to set the channels the decoder is using. You cannot set the decoder from the transmitter. Here's the link for the instructions for the decoder:

I have the channel setting tool... I set the servo to respond to what channel? The channel setting tool allows you to set channel 1-18 but the transmitter only has functions 1-12 and DG-1 and DG-2. Which channel and how do I assign a channel to DG-1 and DG-2?

Program the decoder to channels 17 and 18 for DG1 and DG2. The serial protocol of the S-Bus looks for the DG channels there.

The programmer (SBC-1) only goes to channel 16... how do I setup 17 and 18?

FYI>>> I spoke to John @ hobbico support and he explained that it can be programmed by the trans (port in the back). you gotta use a y cable and a battery to set the channel on the sbus servo.
