Default BLS173SV and BLS173SVi differences?

I need to replace some S9071SB servos installed in my jet for gear, brakes and nose gear door. The servo that operates the gear valve is getting very hot and we cannot find any evidence of binding. The servo is still under warranty but I don't have time to send it in since we're headed to BITW, so I looked for a replacement servo. as the S9071SB is discontinued.

The only real options to stay with digital mini SB capable servos that I can find are the BLS173SV which is not in stock at Tower, and the BLS173SVi which is in stock but there is no technical information on that servo either at Tower or on Futabarc.com.

Can you tell me what the difference is or if there might be another possible servo substitution for the S9071SB?

Thanks

The Futaba BLS173SV and BLS173SVi are the same servo, but t he BLS173SVi does not come with a lead attached. It has a micro connector on it and you then use any one of these leads to connect it to a standard Futaba receiver:

FUTM4260 FSH-73 SERVO LEAD FUT-ZH 100MM
FUTM4261 FSH-74 SERVO LEAD FUT-ZH 150MM
FUTM4262 FSH-75 SERVO LEAD FUT-ZH 200MM
FUTM4263 FSH-76 SERVO LEAD FUT-ZH 300MM
FUTM4264 FSH-77 SERVO LEAD FUT-ZH 400MM
FUTM4270 FSH-83 SERVO LEAD ZH-ZH 400MM
FUTM4271 FSH-84 SERVO LEAD ZH-ZH 500MM
FUTM4272 FSH-85 SERVO LEAD ZH-ZH 600MM

Makes it fast and easy to replace a servo in the field. Servos are identical in all other aspects.
