Default 6EX Training mode not working

I have a Futaba 6EX Fasst 2.4 system and bought the Futaba buddy box and cable.
I went into my transmitter programming and enabled trainer mode for Model 1 (I actually did all the models)
I connect the buddy box to the transmitter and the LEDs light up fine, but when I pull and hold the Trainer switch on the receiver the control never goes to the buddy box. The main receiver still controls everything.
Any ideas?

TIA

Andrew

We're not sure why that would happen. When the LEDs on the trainer box lit, it should have control transferred to it when you flip the trainer switch. Please make sure the trainer function in the 6EX transmitter is not set to INH. When you look at it, it should be set to either ON or OFF. When you flip the switch to transfer control to the student transmitter, it may take a second or so for it to come up.

Hi Bax, thanks for the reply. I did make sure that training mode was set to ON for all models, and I waited as long as a minute with no result. I believe there may be something wrong with the 6EX transmitter...

It might be a good idea to send both to the service center.

Yeah, I will do that. What is the process for that? do I just box them and ship them? is there a service centre in the Toronto area?
