I have one of these and the instructions say "Cut approximately 30mm of the positive (-, black) line from the cable."
And the sketch says "The fuse should be attached as close to the external power supply as possible. Fuse to Black line (-)"

So which line do I put the fuse in- the black or the red? Since red is positive and black is negative.

I plan to attach a pdf of the instructions to this message for your reference.

Put it on the black wire...negative wire.
