Default 14SG Software Ver. 5.0 Problem installing

Hi,
Sorry if I missed any post on this issue.
But here goes.
I have finally got around to updating both my 14SGs with version 3.0 installed. This happens with both 14SGs
I'm using Brand new SanDisk 8GB and 16GB cards (3 different cards). And Windows 7.
I have followed the instructions as per the .pdf file that comes with the software download.
When I get to part 2 section 4.Data Copy On The SD Card. OK?
I get :
"There is not enough space on SD Card. You need an additional 992KB to copy these files.
SD Card
Space free: 0 bytes
Total size: 1.83 GB
Try Again Cancel "

And will not allow me to continue.
Ruined my night
Did I miss a step or the secret formula?
Anyways Thanks for any help with this issue you can give me.

When you download the update, there's a ".pdf" file that tells you how to do the update. You don't copy the files to the SD card. You copy them to the desktop and then run the installer that's with the .zip file. You then do what it instructs you to do.

Ok got it figured out.
The .pdf is missing a step and is not very clear.
At step 4 When you click on the file, T14sgUpdate.exe, a window pops up and says

"This application may depend on other compressed
files in this folder
For the application to run properly, it is recommended
that you first extract all files."

Select Extract All

Extract them in the default folder, (do not browse to the SD card location just yet)

After you extract the files, the T14sgUpdate.exe file your looking for, will show up
Select the T14sgUpdate.exe file, now browse to your SD Card location.
And SHAZAM!
It works
Maybe it's a windows 7 thing, I don't know.
Now both my 14SGs are up to date.

Thank you very much, Bax

P.S. If I install the sound option on the 14SG and don't like it can I take it off?

Once installed, you can't un-install it, but you don't have to use it.
