Futaba 12z with Powerbox Competition
Hello,
Can anyone help please.
I have a Futaba 12z, and a glider which requires 13 channels.
The 12 th channel is used to extend the motor pod. How do I set up a Virtual Channel for the motor to run once the pod has been extended (motor on or off or with throttle stick)
I am using a Powerbox Competition, how do I "output map" the virtual channel.
OR do I just buy a 14Mz.
Appreciate any help.
Regards,
Paul.

The 12Z actually has 14 control channels. 12 are proportional, and 1 are "digital", which means that they are either one way or the other way. That makes them suitable for retracts, light switches, or anything else that needs just two positions. You can access those channels through the 14-channel receiver or through the S-Bus, if you have the 2.4 GHz module installed. A "virtual" channel is not really a channel at all, but a way to add a function without using up a slot on the receiver. It's sort of like using a mix with hardware as the master.
