Default Mix and switch verification

When setting up knife edge mixing rudder-aileron and rudder-elevator is there any way to check and make sure the tx is doing
what you intended it to do? I know you can look at your model and tell. I thought you could hit the switch (I have a switch assigned for knife edge) for rudder to elevator and see the result on that (rudder-elevator) screen reflected by the rates. I can't tell anything has happened. I can go to the servo monitor and see that my elevator servos are moving. I hope I haven't been too confusing. I just thought when I hit my switch my rates would change to reflect that. This is on a futaba 18sz.

You normally check how the functions interact by looking at the servo screen. You won't see things happen in the AFR or dual-rate screens. Those screens just show you what those settings are, not the actual real-time operation.
